Car Alarm Upgrade

The car came with only 1 set of key and with no alarm. I've had a few closed calls of losing the key and if you know how much it cost to get a BMW key smith just to come over to get your car running, you'll know it is cheaper to just get this sorted out in the first place. My last close call y'day was a sign that I am just playing with time.

So, I woke up early this morning and drove over to get my alarm, immobilizer and spare key sorted out. I decided to upgrade the original alarm to....

due to security reasons!

HAHAHAH... sorry, due to security reasons, I will not be blogging about this. I might as well publish my online banking information and password. :)

It is enough to say.. I won't be going to sleep at night thinking ....

... if I lost or locked my only set of key in the car OR ...

... if I have to resort to this OR ...

... came back to where I parked my car and saw this...

The price you pay for some peace of mind...

Quad Exhaust - 4x the fun!

They say Double Trouble, Triple Threat.....  so what do you say about Quadruple? Err..... well, screw it... it is Four times the fun!! :D

Yes, yes... long overdue. Got my quad exhaust done today. Yippie! I went with a titanium quad setup.

Wiper Changed...

Boring subject... these should have been changed a long time ago but have been procrastinating. Now the rubbers are split like "mulut buaya" (crocodile mouth).

2 "buaya" - in tribute to the 2 sifus!

After much price checking and thinking if I should opt for silicone or rubber, decided to just go back to the original spec.

Bosch 26" and 22" rubber wiper

No more "buaya"s

2 gun salute to the old broken wipers... :)

Came across these pictures ... the more I look at them, the more I thought it was a computer rendering.... what do you think (beside being real or not)?

HID'd

Changed my foggies from the normal standard amber bulb to 6000k (Pure White with a slight hit of blue) HID. The equivalent amber color for HIDs would be around 3000k-ish.

Taking photos of light using my iPhone2 is a real pain and the pictures are crap. But it will do for now lar....

Red Arrow's Chrome turns Black...

If you remember reading about Ms Red having her chrome window liner painted black (click here), today Red Arrow did a similar modification.


However, instead of getting it painted, the method of choice is to use sticker. This is more time consuming (if you DIY) or expensive (if you get someone else to do) but it is better way to do this than getting it sprayed as paint doesn't stick that well on chrome.
